19th c., England, mostly Derby, Chamberlain's Worcester, and Minton assembled china service, (150+) pieces, comprising (assorted makers, styles, and sizes): (20) dining plates, 9.5"-10.25"dia, (50) salad plates, 8.5"-9"dia, (10) tea cups, (11) demitasse cups, (19) saucers, (4) rectangular serving platters, 11.75"l-15"l, (2) large and (1) small oval under plates, (12) oval serving dishes, 11"l x 8"w (on average), (6) shell dishes, (2) pairs of covered serving dishes, 9.5"-10.5"l, (2) covered sauce tureens with detached under plates, a pair of tripod comports, (3) footed serving dishes, (1) large tureen, 10.5"h x 13.5"l x 7.5"w, (1) pedestal gravy boat, (1) sauce tureen, (1) teapot, 7.5"h x 10.5"l x 5.5"w, (1) creamer, and (1) waste bowl, decorated in Imari style cobalt blue, iron red, and gilding, some marked on underside, many with Derby mark c. 1825
Condition
Good/Fair, large tureen repaired, some pieces with chips, fleabites, gilding loss and wear, some with hairline cracks, several repaired pieces, Derby dinner plates with pie crust edge each with extensive old staple repairs, some examples with discoloration and staining, crazing, show age and use, varying degrees of wear **Note: Condition reports are based on visual inspection under typical office lighting.
