17th/18th c., Continental, copper box with hinged lid raised on silvered brass central stem on copper base, repousse decorated with draped swags, bead borders and twisted strung bellflowers, unmarked, 7.5"h x 6.6"w x 3.25"d
Condition
Good/Fair, shows age and use, old repairs to underside of bowl, decoration on bowl edge possibly intentionally bent to lock lid, spots of corrosion on copper surface, mostly in crevices
